Hi, I'm Haley! 

I am a mom to a beautiful little girl that I gave birth to via freebirth in my apartment in Fairbanks, AK in 3.5 hours, when I was 25 years old. Growing up I was a talented athlete - I played both volleyball & basketball in college & was asked while practicing w/ the college softball team to join that team as well...Never in my life did I think about being a doula or even what that meant & it never once crossed my mind that I would give birth to my daughter via free birth- especially not at the height of a global pandemic ever in my life until 2019!  Nevertheless- I have come to realize that The Lord Jesus really is the author & finisher of my story on earth... In 2022, I heard the Lord Speak to me "You're a doula," That word is the feminine version of the word Doulos, which is Greek for servant- The Lord referred to all of the apostles & prophets in the new & Old Testament as "my servant." This work is not only an assignment from the Lord, but as His servant I also must be led by the Holy Spirit + be obedient to the voice of my Father. He pre- ordained for me to do this work...& I understand fully that this is an assignment- not a hobby , a pure passion, or something that I studied out of interest, but I was taken on a journey that led me to giving birth alone in my quiet apartment in the deep, dark moments of the brutally cold Alaskan tundra winters...-40s, - 50s....

The Lord had planted a love for WHOLE healthy foods in me since I was very young... I understood, once I started performing very well in athletics, the importance of eating healthy/clean was for my athletic performance....so this sparked my journey into learning about natural medicine, from making natural body scrubs, tinctures, lip gloss, + understanding how certain herbs work on the body, etc. I was intrigued at the power of natural medicine, but what confused me was that a majority of medical system personnel were refusing to recognize these truths of natural medicine. I ate a vegan diet for the first 6 months of my pregnancy, I didn't tell anyone I was pregnant, I drank an abundance of natural teas + took natural supplements...I was 24 years old, when I had come across a mother who gave birth to her son via free birth- I had NEVER heard of this... But after watching her birth story & seeing her give birth so calmly; I immediately KNEW without a doubt, that I too was going to give birth that way- At the time I could not have told you that was I heard the voice of God, but later in my journey of life The Holy Spirit revealed to me that this was part of the larger plan for my life & my assignment on this earth, & that it was God who led me into studying free birth, natural birth, + natural medicine. What I was not aware of was the intense challenges that I would face when dealing with medical personnel who certainly would not validate my desire to give birth via free birth  or even home birth, naturally, without induction, or even without an IV- I was even shocked to have met with such combative midwives in a birthing center that I went to have a water birth- I believe that as Believers in Jesus Christ who are made in the image of God (Gen. 1:26) & according to His word, we are called to subdue the earth, take territory, & multiply....I believe there are good doctors, nurses, midwives out there...but NOT enough, that are FILLED with the Spirit of God which leads a believer into all truth.... I was being LED into all truth... & nothing was going to stop that, not even me if I tried. 

 I stopped going to that doctor & made the decision to completely trust the Creator of This Process; & the voice that was leading me out of a very dark period of my life. At 41 weeks, nearly 2 months past the date that I was scheduled to be induced by the doctors...I gave birth in 3.5 hours to my VERY beautiful, healthy baby who was close to 7lbs. in weight, & her eyes were magnificent... I'll never forget the moment we locked eyes, it was surreal, because I had only seen births where the babies eyes were sealed shut ....But she looked at me like she already knew who I was & I knew exactly who she was... that day changed my life FOR EVER-
